Apsan Observatory is a work of architecture that harmoniously brings together the city with nature and combines the past and future of Daegu. Palgongsan Mountain Cable Car runs 1.2km section from Donghwa Facility District to 820meters mountain peaks. At the top of the mountain, There is a rest area that sell foods and drinks. Also, The hiking trail is in the direction of Donghwasa Temple and Sutaegol Valley.

Nestled on a hillock on the southern ridge of Palgong Mountain and north of Geumho River, Bullo-dong Ancient Tomb Park is an ancient tomb complex which consists of a total of 210 big and small tombs.

With its elevation, it can be a great place to watch the sunset.
